{"id":277,"date":"2020-12-10T20:02:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-11T04:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gwenmar.com\/twtd\/?p=277"},"modified":"2020-12-10T20:02:19","modified_gmt":"2020-12-11T04:02:19","slug":"royal-visit-1939","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gwenmar.com\/twtd\/?p=277","title":{"rendered":"Royal visit: 1939"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just seven years old at the time, Keith remembers the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1939_royal_tour_of_Canada\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1939_royal_tour_of_Canada\">Royal Visit of 1939<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><em>One that comes to mind is the visit of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/George_VI\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/George_VI\">King George VI<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Queen_Elizabeth_The_Queen_Mother\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Queen_Elizabeth_The_Queen_Mother\">Queen Elizabeth<\/a> to Canada in 1939. Our present queen was not with them, tho\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 was about 13 or 14 at the time.
